Do you feel like your reading glasses aren’t strong enough? Do you feel like you’re bringing papers so close to your eyes and it’s still illegible? Are you finding yourself struggling to easily complete fine movements like thread a needle, play cribbage, or enjoy your favorite hobby because you can’t see close enough?
Uncorrectable through surgery, pharmaceuticals, glasses, or contact lenses, low vision a term used to describe a loss of visual acuity while still retaining partial vision. All ages can be impacted by low vision but particularly in adults age 60 and over.
Some examples of low vision are:

Our eyes go through a lot of changes as we get older and there are other diagnoses that can result with a low vision status. Macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts can be leading contributors to low vision.
